Plain rules for using the app: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you. Installing or using KROKY means you accept them.
Effective: 2026-08-04 - Last updated: 2026-08-04
KROKY is built and operated by Maksim Drazdou, an independent developer. In these terms "we" and "us" mean the developer, and "you" means the person using the app.
These terms apply to the KROKY mobile app on iOS and Android and to this website. By installing or using KROKY you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
KROKY is a shared planning app: you create tasks and events, add people to them, and every participant sees the same plan. Tasks can carry a discussion, a colour, an icon, reminders and repeats.
The app needs an internet connection to sync. We may add, change or remove features as the app develops; meaningful changes are announced in the app.
KROKY is free to download and free to use. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Every feature in the app is available to everyone.
If the way KROKY is offered ever changes, we will announce it in the app in advance. No change applies retroactively, and nothing is ever charged without your explicit action in the app store.
You sign in with your phone number, confirmed by a one-time code delivered by SMS or via Telegram. You can also link Google or Apple sign-in and set a password. One number means one account, so keep access to that number: whoever controls it can sign in.
You can create your own account from the age of 13, or older where your country's law sets a higher bar. Younger children can use KROKY only with an account set up and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
The information you give us must be your own and accurate.
You are responsible for what happens on your account, including what the people you invite can see.
A shared task is shared by design. Everyone you add as a participant can see the task’s content, its discussion, and the name and avatar of every other participant. The same goes for groups: members of a group see each other.
Do not put anything in a shared task that you would not want every participant to read. Removing a person stops their access going forward; it does not unsend what they already saw.
Your tasks, events, messages and files stay yours. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not use them for advertising.
You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, sync it between participants, and back it up. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Use the app for planning things with people who want to plan with you. Beyond that, the rules are short.
Nothing illegal, and nothing that harasses, threatens or endangers another person.
No spam, no bulk invites to people who did not ask for them.
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or automate access to the service.
Do not upload content you have no right to share, including other people's private information.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why when we can.
You can stop using KROKY at any time and delete your account from inside the app or from the deletion page on this site. Deleting removes your profile and personal data; everything is fully removed from our servers within 30 days.
We may close an account that breaks the rules in section 7, or stop offering the service entirely. If we ever shut KROKY down, we will give notice in advance so you have time to get your plans out.
KROKY is provided as it is, free of charge. We work to keep it running and reliable, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable, never lose a sync, or fit every purpose you have in mind.
It is a planning app rather than a system of record. Do not rely on it as the only place something important is written down, and keep your own copy of anything critical.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as a missed appointment, a forgotten errand, lost profit or lost data.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is zero. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the consumer law of your country gives you.
We may update these terms as the app changes or the law requires. The date at the top always shows the current version.
For meaningful changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use KROKY after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Belarus. If the consumer law of the country where you live gives you extra rights or lets you bring a claim there, those rights stay with you.
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no obligations for KROKY. Where the App Store requires it, Apple's standard EULA applies in addition to these terms.
